Chief Executive Officer
As Chief Executive Officer Mr. Khanna is responsible for overseeing and directing company operations. He manages the operation’s strategic vision as well as oversees performance management. Mr. Khanna joined CG Technology in July 2010 as Operations Manager and was promoted later that year to Project Manager. He was responsible for designing, negotiating, initiating and implementing new roll-outs of the Race & Sports books and Mobile Gaming launches for the company. Mr. Khanna was promoted to the role of Vice President of Business Development in April 2012 and promoted again to Chief Operating Officer in November 2015. Mr. Khanna became Chief Executive Officer for CG Technology in February 2017.
Mr. Khanna began his career in India where he was employed by Pee Kay Woolen Mills as Director of Operations. Prior to joining CG Technology, he served as the Head of Operations and Finance for Precision Enterprises, Manesar. Mr. Khanna has more than 15 years of business development and operations experience. He has extensive expertise in all aspects of building and operating Race & Sports books and Mobile Gaming facilities including extensive knowledge of regulatory requirements.
Mr. Khanna holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from Delhi University and an MBA in Finance from American University in Washington, DC.
Chief Financial Officer and Chief Technology Officer
As Chief Financial Officer and Chief Technology Officer for CG Technology, Mr. Burge is responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic planning, business development, capital structure, and all accounting and finance functions. Mr. Burge’s integrated resort and gaming industry careers spans more than 19 years. Prior to joining CG Technology in 2012, he worked at Nevada Property 1 LLC (dba The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas) as Chief Financial Officer. In this role he oversaw the pre-opening development budget for the resort, and directed finance, procurement, information technology, and retail operations from pre-opening through the first year of operation. Previously, Mr. Burge served as Vice President of Finance at Las Vegas Sands' Venetian/Palazzo Las Vegas, and Vice President of Finance at the Ameristar Casino-St. Charles. Mr. Burge began his career at Harrah's Entertainment (now Caesar's Entertainment), where he held a number of positions during an eight year tenure.
Mr. Burge holds a BA in Economics from Columbia University in New York, and an MBA in Finance and Information Systems from Vanderbilt University’s Owen Graduate School of Management. He currently resides in Las Vegas with his two children.
Vice President of Compliance
As Vice President of Compliance, Ms. Henderson oversees the company’s policies, procedures and products to ensure they are compliant with regulations and industry standards. She also engages with gaming test laboratories and serves as the company representative for GCB, AGEM, AGA and ACAMS.
Prior to joining the CG Technology in 2016, Ms. Henderson was an associate at the law firm of Greenberg Traurig where her practice focused on gaming law, including licensing and regulatory work; promotional law, including sweepstakes and social gaming; and general corporate matters. Ms. Henderson also served as the manager of regulatory compliance with International Game Technology. Ms. Henderson is a former Senior Agent with the Nevada Gaming Control Board’s Investigation Division.
Ms. Henderson holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Howard University, an M.B.A. from Governors State University and a law degree from the William S. Boyd School of Law at University of Nevada Las Vegas. Ms. Henderson is licensed to practice law in Nevada.
Joshua A. Hanson
Chief Information Officer
As Chief Information Officer of CG Technology, Mr. Hanson is responsible for all aspects of development and technology implementation worldwide. Mr. Hanson joined CG Technology in May 2010 as a Development Manager of the Mobile Casino platform. In this role, he streamlined the Mobile Casino development process, created multiple new titles and features, and oversaw the port to the iOS and Android operating systems.
Prior to joining CG Technology, Mr. Hanson worked at Harrah’s Entertainment (now Caesar’s Entertainment) as an Associate Analyst. During the four years at Harrah’s, he established a comprehensive understanding of software development and made his way up within the company to Lead Analyst.
Mr. Hanson holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Quality Engineering from Florida State University. Mr. Hanson and his wife reside in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Vice President of Race & Sports Operations
As Vice President of Race & Sports Operations, Mr. Goldman is responsible for overseeing all aspects of race and sports operations at all 9 CG Technology affiliated sports books in Las Vegas and the Bahamas. He manages customer relationships and staff, oversees marketing initiatives and works closely with the risk management team to ensure accuracy of odds in each book.
Mr. Goldman has nearly forty years of experience in the Las Vegas gaming industry. Prior to joining CG Technology, Mr. Goldman served as Executive Director of race and sports book operations at The Venetian® from 1999 to 2011. Previously, Mr. Goldman held increasingly senior positions in race and sports book operations at the Las Vegas Hilton, the Flamingo Hilton and the Stardust, where he began his career in 1976.
Vice President of Race & Sports Operations
As Vice President of Race & Sports Operations, Mr. Shepard is responsible for all aspects of CG Technology’s sports business including management of its operations, business development, regulatory compliance, employee and customer relationships, marketing initiatives, and more.
Mr. Shepard joined CG Technology in March 2009 as a Ticket Writer at the Race and Sports Book at The M Resort Spa Casino. Mr. Shepard was assigned increasing positions of responsibility, including Manager of the Race & Sports Books at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas and the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. He was promoted to Vice President of Sports Operations in March 2014.
Vice President of Risk Management
As Vice President of Risk Management, Mr. Simbal is responsible for overseeing all aspects of CG Technology’s race business including management of its operations, business development, regulatory compliance, employee and customer relationships, marketing initiatives, and more.
Mr. Simbal joined CG Technology in December 2010 as Finance Manager and in June 2013 he was promoted to Vice President of Race and Risk Management. His extensive horse racing knowledge combined with his deep financial acumen underscore his position as a recognized industry expert.
Mr. Simbal began his career at Ernst & Young as a Senior Auditor. He holds a BS in Accounting and an MS in Professional Accountancy from the University at Albany.
Matthew B. Holt
Vice President of Business Development
As Vice President of Business Development, Mr. Holt is responsible for overseeing the company’s expansion of clients, business development, and international and national sales.
Originally from New Hampshire, Mr. Holt ventured to Las Vegas and over the course of a decade has become a leader in the sports wagering industry. Mr. Holt created unique and popular injury gathering tools, which were widely recognized by the industry. In 2011, he joined CG Analytics. CG Analytics sets the gold standard for fraud prevention allowing the company to offer fraud prevention and game integrity services to several professional and collegiate sports leagues. At CG Analytics, Mr. Holt created and built a suite of algorithms using big data analytics to formulate betting lines. Using these algorithms, CG Technology is typically first to open market lines on major sporting events. In addition to his role of Vice President of Business Development for CG Technology, Mr. Holt is also Chief Operating Officer for CG Anayltics.
Mr. Holt holds a Sports Marketing degree from Morehead State University.
